A Nigerian man, Abdulkadir Waziri Hamza, finally graduated from Usmanu Danfodiyo University Sokoto (UDUS) after 14 years on a 4-year degree programme.

An X user, Abu_Sadeeq shared the university certificate which he said belonged to his friend who spent 14 years completing a 4-year course.

He revealed that Hamza who studied Applied Chemistry finished with Third Class Honours. A look at the released degree certificate confirmed Hamza was awarded third-class honours. The admission number on the result also confirmed that he spent 14 years in the university having gained admission in 2009.

The development, however, generated mixed reactions from Nigerians, especially internet users.
